This Privacy Policy explains how Sinidra (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Gelbėkit vaikus mobile application (the “App”). This policy applies globally to all users of the App.
1) Who We Are
Gelbėkit vaikus is a mobile platform designed to engage regular donors in personalized experiences based on their ongoing support to non-governmental organizations (“NGOs”).
2) Information We Collect
We collect personal and behavioral information through two channels:
A. Information provided by NGO systems
When your NGO partner connects your donor profile to the App, we may receive:
- Donor ID
- Donor personal details (such as name and email)
- Donation history (such as frequency, amount, and duration)
B. Information collected via the App (automatically and through your interactions)
When you use the App, we may collect:
- User preferences (e.g., liked or skipped content)
- Interaction behavior (e.g., time spent on content, clicks)
- Responses to in-app questions or surveys
- Usage statistics (e.g., session length, screens viewed)
- Device and technical data (e.g., device type, operating system version, and IP address)
- Push notification token, if notifications are enabled
Payment information: We do not collect payment information directly through the App.
3) How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver personalized content based on donation behavior and preferences
- Display donor achievement levels and engagement progress
- Analyze trends and usage to improve the App experience
- Enable insights for NGO partners in aggregate or pseudonymized form
- Respond to user interactions, feedback, and support requests
- Send push notifications about new content, App updates, and relevant donor engagement information
4) How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own purposes.
We may provide:
- Aggregate or pseudonymized insights to our NGO partners (for example, overall engagement statistics and trends).
- Public statistics generated from behavioral data combined with anonymized data from all users, in a way that is not intended to identify you.
5) International Data Transfers
Because we operate globally, your information may be processed or stored outside your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect your information, including standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
6) Data Retention
We retain information as follows:
- Data is stored as long as the App is active and you continue to donate.
- If donations stop, your last donation level and achievement data may remain visible but will not be updated.
- If you uninstall the App, data collection from the App stops.
- If you reinstall the App later, your profile and progress may be restored from NGO systems.
7) Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information, including encryption, access controls, and secure infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8) Analytics
The App may use analytics tools to understand usage behavior and improve features and user experience. These tools may collect pseudonymized usage data (such as interaction events, session metrics, and device/technical information).
9) Push Notifications
The App may ask for permission to send push notifications. Push notifications are used to inform you about new content, important updates, donor-related engagement messages, and other relevant App information.
If you allow notifications, the App may collect and store a push notification token linked to your device and App installation. This token is used only to deliver notifications to your device. The token does not directly identify you by itself, but it may be associated with your App profile so that we can send relevant notifications.
Push notifications may be delivered through third-party platform services, including Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android and Apple Push Notification service for iOS. These services may process technical data necessary to deliver the notification.
You can enable or disable push notifications at any time in your device settings. If you disable notifications, the App will continue to work, but you may not receive updates or reminders.
10) Your Choices and Controls
Permissions
You can control and revoke App permissions at any time through your device settings (for example, access to notifications if enabled).
Access, correction, and deletion
Depending on your relationship with an NGO partner and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
How to request data deletion (outside the app):
- Online form: https://sinidra.com/forgetme
- Email: info@sinidra.com
When you submit a deletion request, we will take steps to verify and process it in accordance with applicable law and our retention obligations.
Uninstalling the App
If you uninstall the App, data collection from the App stops. Some data may still be retained as described in Data Retention above (for example, information maintained in NGO systems and data needed for legal, security, or operational purposes).
11) Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children and is intended for users above the age of 13/16 (depending on the age threshold in the user’s country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the applicable minimum age.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us at info@sinidra.com and we will take appropriate steps.
12) Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you via the App or email. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
